Curiosity and precision are at the heart of Nyta’s development process, resulting in smart and beautifully designed luminaires. Carefully chosen materials perfectly blend in with traditional artisanship and digital technologies.

Every design detail and every part of the manufacturing process is calibrated to achieve an overall effect of clarity and finesse. Attention to detail while retaining a reductionist style as well as a high quality standard make Nyta luminaires a lifelong and sustainable companion.

Made in Europe

Manufacturing takes place in Europe, which makes for short delivery chains and more transparent production and communication. Over the years, Nyta built committed and friendly relationships with many partners.

A number of international projects, awards, and citations as well as a world-wide distribution network underscore the value of these synergies.

Nyta – Pi

Design

At Nyta, almost all products are designed and developed in-house. From time to time we also work with external designers.

Everyone in the design team has a background in product design, but all have a specific focus, different interests and skills that form an inspiring creative team.

Johannes Müller, Co-Gründer

Besides in running Nyta as managing director, Johannes' exceptional talent for profound overview from full picture to smallest detail melts in perfectly with his intuition for aesthetics and his background as product designer in our team. Involved in every design process from product to graphics and heading for getting things to mesh and work out – always bearing the full picture of the company in mind.

Johannes Marmon, Co-Gründer

Johannes is the specific light guy in the team - his interest and focus in lighting has been with him since thinking product design. He loves to perceive light as phenomenon, aesthetical object and function all the same – understanding and working light conceptually, in physics, object and technology and searching to elegantly unite all this in real-world products is what drives him, diving into any potentially interesting idea, technology or material to eventually translate won insights into new, aesthetic and functional designs.

Tina Schmid

Tina's exceptionally good eye for colors, shapes and surfaces, along with her profound ability and intuition to judge ensembles of space and objects, context and ambience round up design processes at Nyta.Beyond being involved in any product design happening at Nyta, she specifically keeps her eyes on the development of the appearance of any aspect of our brand – in set design, definition of styles in our photographic language, stand design for shows as well as in defining character and look of our print and and digital media.

Simon Diener

We discovered Simon's Pong luminaire a few years ago at an exhibition in Milan and fell in love with its concept and shape.
The original pendant light with rechargeable battery is currently no longer in production, but the regular Pong pendant light is still in our range.

External designer.

Christian Klotz

Christian has a fabulous hands-on approach with a profound and vast knowledge of production methods, materials and technical possibilities, adding a solid engineering and production oriented aspect to his generally strong conceptual and aesthetic approach to design.
